The Queen Cat

Kalypsoyla is a cat of 8 years old that her human mother has abandonned, because she has become pregnant.

Kalypsoyla had a deep depression after having lived with her for so long and felt abandonned and sad, she also has been given in a house with many cats and she has been terrorised by them. The result is that she stopped eating and as she was rather fat she became soon very ill of idiopathic hepatic lipidosis.

I found her freightened in a bathroom totally yellow from jaundice. The doctor said, that if she didn’t eat enough, the next three days she would die! She refused eating because of the illness and other emotions and she was aggressive to whom fed her. I took her home and give her the impression she was my only cat althow I had plenty… (my cats agreed to be left outside at  the balcony and I am very thankfull to them). So I gave her plenty of affection to which she was avide but she wasn’t still eating. I finally decided I had to force feed her for her own health and put her in a travel bag except the head.. so slowly in this position with plenty of tenderness i managed that she eated and slowly she started to heal.

Now she is totally healthy, pink rose everywhere, but she needs a real caring house with just humans and no other cats. Unfortunately here in greece she has no chance because nobody wants 8 year old animals. She gets very afraid of other cats and can be very aggressive to them. On the contrary she loves truly humans, and she is “butter” in their hands. She cuddles a lot likes very much to sleep at your feet at night or hide in your blanket. She can stay some hours alone but not too many (as12) and she will wait for you at the door each day waiting for cuddling. If she  likes you she will show you she wants to climb in your shoulder as a small kitten so you may take a walk with her on you.. she adores liking your hair while you walk her, and it is like a head massage what she does to you. She is one of the most tender cats I’ve seen with very big eyes and tail but in her heart she is still a small kitten.

She needs a loving person or even more who would understand how emotional she is and won’t ever take another cat except her.

Alexandra ist schon 6 jahre Alt, aber sie braucht nun endlich ihren Menschen zum schmusen und Lieb haben.  Eigendlich ist sie mehr ein kleiner Hund als eine Katze, da sie alles zusammen mit ihren Zweibeinern machen möchte. Ihre Geschichte ist einfach zu lang um sie hier zu erzählen aber eins kann man sagen " hat sie ihren neuen Menschen erst einmal Akzeptiert, hat man einen Freund fürs ganze leben gefunden.
